Day 1 :

Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda

Welcome to Kigali! A representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 2 :

Full day Kigali City Tour – Kigali Genocide Memorial

Kigali, nestled among verdant hills, is a thriving and tranquil city. Start your Rwandan adventure by exploring this vibrant metropolis, known for its outstanding museums, burgeoning music scene, and exquisite dining. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, commemorating the victims of the 1994 genocide, and the Inema Arts Center, a beacon for Rwanda's artistic community. Continue to the Presidential Museum, offering insights into Rwanda's history, and conclude your day at the bustling Kimironko Market.

Day 3 :

Visit Nyamata Genocide Memorial and Reconciliation Village

Travel to the Nyamata Genocide Memorial, housed in a former church, to honor the memory of those lost in the 1994 genocide. Then, visit the Nyamata Reconciliation Village, where genocide survivors and perpetrators live together, working towards mutual understanding and healing. Return to Kigali for the evening

Day 4 :

Transfer to Nyungwe via Aziz Life Village

After breakfast, head to the Aziz community to learn about their initiatives in entrepreneurship and artisan support. Visit the Rwanda National Museum before continuing to the enchanting Nyungwe Forest, a lush haven of biodiversity.

Day 5 :

Canopy Walk – Gisakura Tea Factory Tour

Embark on an early morning canopy walk to explore the treetops and learn about the forest's unique ecosystem. Afterward, tour the Gisakura tea estate to understand local tea production. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 6 :

Waterfall Hike – Relaxation

Day 7 :

Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Gisenyi via Kibuye

Rise early for a guided trek to find a family of chimpanzees in Nyungwe Forest. Observe these fascinating primates before returning for breakfast and transferring to Gisenyi, stopping for lunch en route.

Day 8 :

Kayaking, Paddling, and Jet Ski on Lake Kivu

Explore Lake Kivu by kayak, taking in the stunning scenery and spotting local wildlife. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at your hotel.

Day 9 :

Transfer from Lake Kivu to Volcanoes National Park

Journey through the northern province's rolling hills to Volcanoes National Park. After lunch, visit the Ibyi Iwacu cultural village to experience traditional rural life.

Day 10 :

A Day with the Community – Visit Dian Fossey Museum

Spend the morning with the local community in Gastura Village, participating in traditional activities. In the afternoon, visit the Karisoke Research Center, dedicated to the conservation of mountain gorillas.

Day 11 :

Transfer from Volcanoes National Park to Akagera National Park

Transfer to Akagera National Park, where you'll embark on a wildlife viewing cruise on Lake Ihema. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 12 :

Transfer to Kigali with En Route Game Drive, Departure

Enjoy a game drive as you leave Akagera National Park, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. Arrive in Kigali in the afternoon for your flight home. Safe travels!
